OB Visit #1

My doctors appointment this morning went fine. They did a pap smear, took some blood, some urine, etc. They scheduled me for my first ultrasound on December 26th at 1030 AM. I am going to go insane by then! That'll make me like 9 or 10 weeks. I am still a little nervous due to my lack of symptoms, but my mom assures me, as well as the nurse practitioner at my OB's office, that it's fine.

Our families were thankful and didn't even know it...

We told our parents/families Thanksgiving Day. We bought these cute little ducky frames and put this in it: "Picture to come soon. Baby Chamberlain July 2008" Written in green of course. They were happy. Dave's mom and my dad cried. We told Nate Monday night, before Thanksgiving, actually Dave told him on the way home from school. He said, "Good, now I won't be bored anymore." Gotta love kids don't you?!

Symptoms: gas, fatigue, headaches, sore nipples.

We're Pregnant!

After six months of trying and a doctors appointment to hear that we had to wait another six months, we're pregnant!

It all started on Thursday night, November 15th. I had really bad gas. I took as GasX and figured it'd go away in the morning. Nope. I went to school and it was still there. A sub said that she had really bad gas when she got pregnant. After running some errands after school, I came home and decided to take the HPT a day early. My to my surprise, it was positive. I took another, it was too. After talking to Dave on the phone, he said to go buy another test. I did. We went to dinner with some friends and I was planning to take it in the morning. We came home and Dave went to Walmart. While he was gone, I said what the heck. I took FRER test. POSITIVE! Okay...so I took a digital, you know you can't mistake that...PREGNANT!

Whoohoo!
