What are you thankful for in July?

After spending the last three days at Riverside with Dave, I have really thought and reflected on what I am truly thankful for. It is a fitting list.

I am thankful for...
Dave
Dave being healthier than we thought
Gracyn
The fact that it's just Gracyn's hand
My parents and that our relationship keeps getting better
Having spent time with my grandmother who helped mold me into the woman I am
That Gracyn will meet my grandfather
Finding my spirituality in Judaism
My kids at work who always ground me and keep me centered
My friends who tell me about myself even when I don't want to hear it
and the wind when it blows through my hair and leaves me feeling clean and as if I have been touched by G-d.

Week 35 Events

Turned 35 weeks Tuesday, had L&D trip #1 Wednesday (see info below), and have an OB appointment today.

L&D trip #1: WARNING - POSSIBLE TMI
I have been having back pain, pressure and leakage. DH made me call the OB this morning and they told me to go to L&D. I went and I have not only a nasty yeast infection, but a UTI to boot! Seriously?! Only me....I am on meds for both. This blows.

Goin' On 34

No, not my age, that'd be going on 28 (barely with a b-day in May). I will be 34 weeks Tuesday, that means that as of today I am 33 and counting.

We have an OB appointment today. It has been a busy month thus far. The shower. The Children's Hospital appointment, today the OB and Tuesday the pediatrician. Whew...and I start summer school Monday.

The kids are deathly afraid that I'll go into labor. Um, no, or at least I hope not! It is over the 27th of June and seeing I'm not due until the 30th of July, I think I am safe enough.

Other than all of that, SSDD.

News Update Going Into Week 29

This week Gracyn goes from Chinese Cabbage to a Butternut Squash (2.5 lbs and 15" long).

I will enter my 29th week on Tuesday.

My GD test came back and I do NOT have it. Yea!.

Childbirth class anti-climactic today.

Dave hung her chalk box. Helen signed her chalkboard.

We have our 3D U/S Wednesday, another OB appointment Thursday

My 27th b-day Friday

And, our Maternity pictures with Rob Manko on Sunday. Busy bees we are.

I'll post pictures of the 3D U/S and maternity photos once we have them.

Update

We went to the OB yesterday for my GD test. I should know something Monday or so. I have to go back Monday for my Rhogam booster. She measured my belly. I am measuring on target for 27 weeks. Gracyn's HB was 150, as always. The nurse had to fight with my veins to draw my blood...that sucked. I go to bi-weekly appointments from here until 36 weeks. I put on weight. 6 pounds in a month. I should be at like 19 total and I am at 16, so still a little under, but on track nonetheless.
