likes milk. I know. I am a terrible mother, I am giving her some whole milk already. She likes it and is still getting formula too.
Also, she likes tofu (what she calls 'foo') and cheese crumbles. Loves flavored water and Yo Baby yogurt.
She is a crawling fool. Is pulling herself up on the coffee table.
She weighed 15 lbs 12 oz Monday at the pediatrician. She was 28" long.
She has two bottom teeth.
I painted her toe nails, yet another reason I am a bad mother.
I love the crap outta that kid!

I am a mother, a wife, a teacher, a daughter, a friend, a confidante...you name it. During the day, I am a high school English teacher at an inner-city high school. At night, I am a mommy to Gracyn, wife to Dave, step-mom to Nate, etc. To be able to retain some of being a woman, and not just a mom or a teacher, I am also a lia sophia Advisor.
Gracyn was diagnosed with a congenital birth defect at 28w and then with Symbrachydactyly in August of 2008. She is willful, driven, stubborn and hell bent on not letting her disability impact her life negatively...gee, I wonder where she gets those qualities?

my one and only child. a combination of the two of us. she has so much to overcome and doesn't even know it. she amazes me daily. her spirit and her will make her a match for any opponent she meets. i love her for all that she is and for all that she has yet to become.
