I hate election season for many reasons. But today, my reason is stupidity. Someone stole our Obama sign from our yard in the middle of the night. Normally, I'd say it's my students being lame, but with all of the hype this year and seeing as we live in Redneck Central USA, I cannot simply blame immature teenagers. So...I requested another one. For two reasons: 1. I already voted via absentee ballot and it is out of spite and 2. because it is my RIGHT to have whatever sign I want in my front yard and I refuse to let either teenage stupidity or conservative ignorance deny my of that right.
